I have just moved into a Property?
If you have recently moved into a property, the previous owner or tenant’s gas & electricity contract will not be valid for your business. Many suppliers refer to this as a "change of ownership".
As you are yet to agree contract terms (Price, business contract type & duration) with the new energy supplier, the suppliers will place you on a “deemed contract” or “out of contract price”. These out of contract prices can often be as much as 2 - 3 times more than a contract price.
It is important to act quickly to avoid additional costs.
